Amanda Bynes has always portrayed a positive image in the entertainment industry. While many other "child stars" grew up and got into drugs, alcohol, and trouble with the law, Amanda Bynes kept a low profile by being active on twitter and keeping her fan base a live. She was never in the center of negative media attention until now. Bynes recently made a drastic change to her appearance and lifestyle which has been the topic of many discussions lately. Many are calling it a cry for attention. Could this just be her way of finally "rebelling"?
Bynes recently got long blonde extensions, a nose job and cheek piercings. She admitted that the muse behind her new look is exotic dancer, Chyna Black who is well known in the hip-hop industry. She no longer wants to be associated with "the old her" and photos of her past. Her new look and lifestyle has been attracting a lot of negative attention from all over and she has been the "talk of the town" as of late. Though this is not the Amanda Bynes that we all knew and loved during her days on Nickelodeon we must understand that she is no longer a child.
Bynes tweeted: “The reason I've asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I don't look like that anymore! I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes. I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don't want old photos used anymore!”
